**Job Title** Head of Data & Analytics (Maternity Cover) **Role Summary** Lead a small analytics team while executing hands‑on analytics work. Own KPI frameworks, produce insights for senior leadership, and drive data strategy and governance for a private‑equity backed student accommodation platform. **Expectations** * Deliver a mix of 70 % analytical output and 30 % leadership duties. * Guide the business to data‑driven decisions via KPI dashboards and regular insight packs. * Mentor and develop three analysts, including a mid level who manages a junior. * Shape data strategy, documentation standards, and governance practices. **Key Responsibilities** * Build and maintain data models, tests and dashboards using SQL, dbt and Tableau. * Design, iterate and present KPI frameworks; compile the weekly leadership KPI pack. * Conduct ad‑hoc analysis, deep dives, data triage and quality assurance. * Translate business questions into actionable data stories and measurable impact. * Coach analysts, run stand‑ups, code reviews and capacity planning. * Advance data strategy, documentation, testing, quality monitoring and access governance. * Manage stakeholder relationships across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance and Ops; communicate trade‑offs and progress. * Contribute to the evolution of the organization’s data capability and use cases. **Required Skills** * 5+ years in analytics/data, with 2+ years of team leadership (3–5 analysts). * Advanced proficiency in SQL, dbt and Tableau (or comparable BI tools). * Proven track record of KPI design, dashboarding and senior‑level insight delivery. * Experience in data strategy and data governance initiatives. * Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. * (Desirable) Knowledge of Snowflake or other modern cloud DWH; experience in marketplaces, property or utilities sectors. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field. * Relevant certifications in data analytics, BI or data governance preferred but not mandatory.

Convert high‑volume inbound enquiries into confirmed bookings and maintain accurate property data for nationwide operators. **Expectations:** - Hit weekly call volumes (up to 100 calls/day during peak). - Meet conversion targets for student bookings. - Collaborate with PBSA/BTR operators for seamless hand‑overs. - Maintain accurate, platform‑compliant listings. **Key Responsibilities:** - Follow up promptly on student enquiries, building rapport and guiding them through booking. - Serve as the trusted point of contact for students, providing accurate property information. - Coordinate with operators to ensure smooth hand‑overs and accurate bookings. - Conduct occasional site visits across the UK to deepen product knowledge. - Maintain and update property listings; upload new properties for non‑automated feeds. - Use Salesforce/CRM to manage leads, workflows, and partner integrations. - Troubleshoot operational issues and support internal reporting/data validation tasks. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 2 years sales experience, preferably in tech or SaaS. - Proven ability to handle high call volumes and convert leads. - Strong rapport‑building, influencing and closing skills. - Resilience and motivation in handling rejection. - Experience in student accommodation market (preferred). - Proficient in Salesforce and other CRM systems. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Highly organised, detail‑oriented, multi‑tasking in fast‑paced environment. - Self‑motivated, collaborative team player. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Any relevant sales or CRM certification is a plus.
