Job Description
Job Title: PHP/Laravel Developer – Freelancer Role Summary Short‑term (≈10 months) freelance contractor building, maintaining and enhancing a Financial Sanctions Suite in a policy‑driven, regulatory environment. Works closely with cross‑functional policy, operations and IT teams to deliver secure, compliant solutions. Expectations * Deliver high‑quality code and documentation within agreed timelines. * Collaborate effectively across multicultural, cross‑departmental teams. * Anticipate and propose improvements to meet evolving policy and technical needs. * Maintain strict data security and compliance standards for sensitive information. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test and deploy new functionality for the Financial Sanctions Suite using PHP/Laravel. * Refactor and maintain existing codebase to improve performance, scalability and security. * Integrate with interoperable systems (e.g., external provider feeds, regulatory APIs). * Conduct code reviews, unit/integration testing, and produce technical documentation. * Liaise with policy and operations stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. * Provide timely support and troubleshooting for production issues. * Contribute to digital‑transformation initiatives within the broader IT portfolio.
