**Job Title:** AOSP/Android Automotive Developer **Role Summary:** Develop and optimize media stack for next-generation automotive infotainment systems, ensuring compatibility with high-demand multimedia applications (e.g., streaming services) while prioritizing performance, security, and DRM compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Adapt and develop AOSP components (Framework/Native/HAL) for audio/video processing and media management. - Design and optimize platforms to support premium streaming applications under Android Automotive standards. - Implement and maintain media pipelines, codecs, DRM systems, and player infrastructure. - Collaborate with system, middleware, UI teams, and partners to ensure seamless integration. - Analyze and improve system performance (latency, power consumption, QoS). - Validate and certify media features on target embedded platforms. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in AOSP (Framework/JNI/HAL), Android Automotive OS (AAOS), or embedded Android systems. - Experience with Android media services (MediaPlayerService, AudioFlinger, MediaCodec). - Knowledge of adaptive streaming protocols (DASH, HLS) and multimedia formats/codecs (MP4, H.264, Dolby). - Drm expertise (Widevine/PlayReady) and secure environments (TEE/TrustZone). - Embedded systems: Linux, Android BSP, SoC integration (Qualcomm, NXP, Renesas). - Tools: Git/Gerrit/Jenkins, adb, logcat, perf. - Development languages: C/C++, Java, Kotlin. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or higher in computer science/engineering or equivalent. - 3–5+ years in AOSP or low-level Android development. - Professional English (international project collaboration). - Experience in automotive, connected TV, or embedded devices preferred.
