Job Title: Product Engineer (Staff/Principal)
Role Summary:
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of core product areas for a real‑estate AI workspace, combining deep technical expertise, product intuition, and customer‑centric strategy to build scalable, secure, and high‑impact solutions that drive enterprise adoption.
Expectations:
• Own product ownership—define scope, prioritize, and deliver features from concept to production.
• Balance technical excellence with business value; collaborate across product, design, sales, and support.
• Mentor junior engineers, foster a culture of experimentation, and adapt swiftly to fast‑paced environment.
• Leverage AI coding assistance (Claude Code) to accelerate high‑level architecture and problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Discover, define, and own product requirements; synthesize customer insights into actionable specifications.
• Design, architect, and implement scalable APIs, backend services, and event‑driven streaming for document processing and agentic workflows.
• Build user‑friendly front‑end experiences that expose AI capabilities; ensure consistency across platform and integrations.
• Integrate with enterprise systems, third‑party APIs, and maintain data privacy and security by design.
• Champion engineering best practices: automated testing, CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and code quality reviews.
• Deploy, monitor, and iterate on features, ensuring reliable uptime, performance, and user adoption.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade‑offs to CTO and commercial stakeholders.
Required Skills:
• 7+ years of full‑stack engineering experience; strong proficiency in backend languages (Python/Go/Java) and modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue/Next.js).
• Experience designing large‑scale, real‑time, event‑driven architectures.
• Proven ability to work iteratively with end‑users, translate needs into technical solutions, and make data‑driven decisions.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tooling, especially Claude Code or similar coding‑assistant tools.
• Deep knowledge of secure API design, authentication, authorization, and data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/K8s), cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and observability (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong communication, mentorship, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
