Key Responsibilities: - Develop/revise manufacturing instructions and route cards. - Design, test, and validate assembly tooling. - Apply FMEAs, FAIs, and configuration control for design updates. - Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and resolve non-conformances via SAP. - Support systems-level builds for electro-mechanical actuation systems. Required Skills: - Interpret engineering drawings for manufacturing instructions. - Expertise in electronic sub-assembly and system integration. - Proficiency in SAP and ESD protocols. - Strong documentation analysis and compliance verification. - Collaborative teamwork and communication with diverse stakeholders. Job Description
**Job title** Embedded Ada Software Engineer **Role Summary** Design, test, and deliver high‑integrity embedded software solutions in Ada. Work autonomously within a small, cross‑functional team, contributing from requirement definition through to field validation in a lab environment. **Expectations** Deliver functional, reliable code on schedule; maintain clear documentation; actively participate in peer reviews and continuous improvement; ensure compliance with safety‑critical and defense standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain Ada source code for embedded targets. - Create and execute unit, integration, and field‑test plans. - Collaborate with hardware, systems, and QA teams to define requirements and validate solutions. - Perform static analysis, code reviews, and adherence checks to Ada MISRA or similar guidelines. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance in a lab setting. - Document design, test procedures, and change records. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Ada (GNAT or equivalent) and embedded development. - Experience with real‑time operating systems or bare‑metal programming. - Knowledge of hardware interfaces (SPI, UART, CAN, I²C). - Familiarity with version control (Git) and build systems (CMake, Make). - Experience with simulation, protocol analyzers, and oscilloscope data interpretation. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Relevant Ada programming or safety‑critical software certification (e.g., Ada Certification, DO-178C, or equivalent) preferred.
