**Job Title**
Category Manager – HR Services & Other Indirects
**Role Summary**
Lead the strategic procurement and category management of HR services and supplementary indirect categories (fleet, general goods/services, IT/telecoms, professional & financial services). Drive spend analysis, supplier engagement, value‑creation initiatives, and cross‑functional alignment to maximize cost efficiencies and service quality across the UK&I organization.
**Expectations**
- Deliver measurable savings and cost‑optimization outcomes through disciplined category planning.
- Ensure full compliance with UK&I procurement strategy, policies, and sustainability commitments.
- Maintain robust relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and group allies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive spend analytics, future need forecasting, and market intelligence for the HR services category and associated sub‑categories.
- Design, implement, and monitor procurement strategies and action plans aligned with business units to reduce external spend and manage market risks.
- Lead end‑to‑end sourcing processes (RFP/RFQ development, evaluation, award, contract negotiation, renewal, and closure).
- Drive value‑chain optimization through supplier segmentation, performance management, and innovation initiatives.
- Champion the adoption of category‑led framework agreements and contracts, ensuring widespread internal understanding of procurement protocols and pricing.
- Report on compliance, spend, savings, and KPI performance to senior management and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Align category strategies with corporate sustainability, CSR, DE&I, and IT imperatives.

- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and stakeholder engagement.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Professional procurement qualification preferred (e.g., CIPS, CSCP, CPM, or equivalent).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar advantage.
