**Job Title**
Open/DevOps Operations Engineer (F/M)
**Role Summary**
Operate and maintain production and non‑production environments for a wide range of applications across Unix, Windows, and cloud platforms. Drive day‑to‑day build‑and‑run activities, ensuring service continuity, compliance with SLAs, and quality in the entire product lifecycle. Collaborate closely with development squads, FinOps, architects, and production teams, while championing automation, observability, and sustainable practices.
**Expectations**
* Deliver on production readiness, incident response, and post‑deployment optimization.
* Proactively contribute to DevOps culture, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain strong documentation, technical dossiers, and process compliance.
* Communicate status, risks, and post‑mortem findings to stakeholders and client teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Operational Coordination** – Daily interaction with squads; report incidents via ServiceNow (METIS); support Agile rituals.
2. **Documentation & Governance** – Ensure completeness of Application Technical Dossiers (DTA), Operation Dossiers (DEX); update and supervise operational guidelines.
3. **Automation & Observability** – Develop monitoring, observability setups; recommend tooling; enforce production requirements in coding.
4. **Release Management** – Plan, coordinate, and execute releases (including HNO); assess impacts; manage post‑release actions.
5. **Production Delivery** – Provision technical assets (SoCloud, Native, Fireflow, Secure Transport); design and validate deployment & rollback tests.
6. **Batch & Continuity Management** – Oversee batch execution, recovery plans, and legacy handling; participate in incident cells and PSIU/PSI activities.
7. **Quality & Availability Monitoring** – Track key indicators; enforce compliance with standards and SLAs.
**Required Skills**
* Platforms: Unix (AIX, Linux RedHat), Windows.
* Scripting: PowerShell, JavaScript.
* Scheduler: Control‑M.
* App Servers: Tomcat, WebSphere, Apache, JBoss, IIS; ETL: DataStage, BPM.
* Databases: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
* Big Data: NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, MapRDB, Teradata).
* Transfer: CFT, Secure Transport, Central Governance.
* Networking: TCP/IP, F5, Grafana.
* DevOps Tech: Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, ELK, Dynatrace, Kafka, Hadoop.
* Cloud: Public/Private, CDAAS.
* Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, ITIL v3/v4, DevOps culture, technical project management.
* Tools: ServiceNow, Teams, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes.
* Language: English fluency (spoken & written).
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
* Certifications preferred: ITIL Foundation, Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Ansible Automation, DevOps (AWS, Azure, or GCP) fundamentals, or comparable.
