Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Project Manager
Role Summary:
Lead end-to-end infrastructure projects focused on data protection, data centre optimisation, and managed cloud solutions for public and private sector clients, ensuring on‑time delivery, high quality, and regulatory compliance.
Expectations:
- Deliver complex infrastructure initiatives within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
- Maintain transparent communication with clients, cross‑functional teams, and external vendors.
- Demonstrate strategic insight to align projects with organisational objectives and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for data protection, data centre, and cloud projects.
- Lead project teams, coordinating tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
- Oversee deployment, configuration, and optimisation of infrastructure systems (servers, storage, networking, backup, encryption, disaster recovery).
- Manage integration of internal resources, external vendors, and service providers for seamless implementation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to security, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
- Produce clear project documentation, status reports, minutes, and statements of work.
- Track and report on project metrics, budgets, and resource utilisation.
Required Skills:
- 5–10 years of Project Coordination/Project Management experience in technology.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, storage, and backup solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft concise reports and meeting minutes.
- Superior organisational and multitasking abilities to manage parallel projects.
- Familiarity with EMC, Cisco, VMware, NetSuite, and SharePoint is advantageous.
- Demonstrated capability to write and edit statements of work and status documents.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Relevant higher‑education degree (e.g., IT, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent professional experience.
- CAPM or PMP certification is an asset.
- Completed project management course(s) preferred.
