Job Description
Job title: Graduate Utilities Engineer – Infrastructure (2026) Role Summary Graduate level engineer supporting multidisciplinary utilities projects across public and private sector infrastructure, from master‑planning through construction delivery. Works closely with civil engineering teams to provide technical and strategic advice, develop project specifications, and coordinate client requirements. Expectations - Adapt quickly to changing project scopes and dynamic tasks. - Remain composed under pressure and pursue solutions confidently. - Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and diverse stakeholders. - Challenge conventional thinking to propose innovative engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities - Assist in drafting and reviewing project technical specifications. - Support client engagement and respond to their technical needs. - Coordinate utilities planning stages, including site acquisition, master‑planning, and environmental impact assessments. - Contribute to procurement and construction documentation. - Work alongside civil engineering colleagues to deliver high‑quality outputs on multidisciplinary projects. Required Skills - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency with engineering design tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar). - Basic understanding of utilities design, environmental regulations, and procurement processes. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent engineering discipline). - Unconditional right to live and work in the UK indefinitely.
