Job Description

Job Title: Oracle Cloud Security Consultant Role Summary: Provide expert security assessment and governance for Oracle Cloud Transformation, focusing on role‑based access control (RBAC) and end‑to‑end security configuration. Expactations: - Deliver comprehensive security review of RBAC and Cloud security setups within a 3‑month contract - Provide actionable recommendations and documentation for remediation - Collaborate with cloud architects and security teams to ensure adherence to Oracle Cloud security best practices - Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and support implementation of improvements Key Responsibilities: - Review and evaluate current role‑based access controls across Oracle Cloud environments - Assess end‑to‑end security configurations, identify gaps, and propose mitigation strategies - Document security findings, tool usage, and remediation steps - Advise on compliance with industry standards and Oracle Cloud security policies - Assist in the rollout and testing of recommended security enhancements Required Skills: - In‑depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) security services (IAM, CASB, DLP, etc.) - Proven experience with RBAC implementation and assessment in cloud environments - Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities - Ability to work independently and remotely within delivery timelines - Familiarity with ISO, PCI, NIST, or similar security frameworks Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field - Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security Associate (preferred) - Additional security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous.
