**Job Title:** Senior Manager – Financial Services Cybersecurity & Security Architecture
**Role Summary:**
Lead and expand cybersecurity initiatives for financial services clients, driving relationship growth, delivering secure cloud‑based architectures, and overseeing end‑to‑end security projects. Act as the industry subject‑matter expert, shaping go‑to‑market strategies and guiding proposal development.
**Expectations:**
- Deep expertise in financial services cyber risk, regulations, and best‑practice frameworks.
- Strong client‑facing ability with senior stakeholders; excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven leadership in managing and mentoring multidisciplinary security teams.
- Ability to translate complex security concepts into actionable business solutions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and maintain strategic client relationships within the financial services sector.
- Define and execute go‑to‑market and commercial strategies with senior industry leaders.
- Serve as SME on sector‑specific cyber threats, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring documentation, quality, and timely reporting.
- Lead RFP responses: develop proposals, presentations, and win strategies for client challenges.
- Design and implement information security architectures on cloud platforms aligned with business goals.
- Drive innovation in operational security, focusing on cloud‑native security services.
- Conduct threat assessments, vulnerability management, and deliver threat intelligence to clients.
- Facilitate workshops and client meetings to capture requirements and tailor solutions.
**Required Skills:**
- Extensive experience in financial services cybersecurity and regulatory compliance (e.g., FFIEC, GDPR, PCI‑DSS).
- Proficiency with security frameworks: ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800‑53, OWASP.
- Hands‑on knowledge of SIEM, security analytics, threat detection, and incident response.
- Cloud security expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) and architecture design.
- Strong project management and delivery capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Leadership and mentoring of junior staff.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, or equivalent.
- Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer) are a plus.
