**Job Title**
System Integrator – Waste Systems Team (HPC Project)
**Role Summary**
Technical coordinator responsible for managing configuration activities, design changes, and multidisciplinary integration within the Waste Systems scope of the Hinkley Point C nuclear project. Ensures alignment with project milestones, maintains design stability, and drives communication across international engineering teams.
**Expectations**
- Align project priorities with equipment contracts, site progress, and commissioning schedules.
- Deliver configuration management KPIs on time and with high quality.
- Proactively resolve technical issues and prevent design bottlenecks.
- Maintain clear, documented communication with stakeholders and remote teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define, cascade, and monitor project priorities and milestones for Waste Systems.
- Provide technical support and advice to system engineers, technical leads, and interdisciplinary groups (layout, civil, contracts, nuclear safety, hazards, electrical, I&C, environment, commissioning).
- Lead participation in committees, design reviews, and peer reviews; challenge design options before formal change initiation.
- Ensure completeness, consistency, and timely update of configuration attributes and specification databases.
- Coordinate transversal technical tasks across Waste Systems and broader Systems Department.
- Report configuration status, KPIs, and risk escalations to HPC Technical Direction and responsible designers.
- Monitor design maturity, enforce quality standards, and support continuous improvement of processes.
- Collaborate with Edvance teams in the UK, France, and Germany, facilitating cross‑border communication and documentation.
**Required Skills**
- Strong configuration and change management expertise in nuclear or large‑scale process projects.
- Proven ability to manage personal and team workload to meet deadlines and KPI targets.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication; adept at remote and multicultural teamwork.
- Solid interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and issue escalation.
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset with a focus on design stability and risk mitigation.
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary coordination (civil, electrical, I&C, safety, environment).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant process engineering experience, including work on the Hinkley Point C project or comparable nuclear projects.
- Demonstrated experience in the nuclear industry (no specific certification required).
