**Job Title:** Information Security Manager **Role Summary:** Lead the organization’s information security program, integrating governance, risk, and compliance with hands‑on technical controls across on‑premises, Azure, and AWS infrastructures. Maintain the ISMS, drive security performance, and ensure continuous compliance with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and GDPR while supporting secure integration of acquisitions. **Expectations:** - Hold a CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification. - Demonstrate 5+ years of senior information security management, with proven experience in AWS/Azure and on‑prem environments. - Exhibit strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and vendor management skills. - Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable security controls. - Proficiency in developing and executing incident response, risk assessment, and security architecture strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee and evolve the ISMS, including policy, procedure, and documentation updates. - Manage security performance of suppliers and internal teams; conduct regular audits and assessments. - Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks. - Lead the secure integration of newly acquired businesses into existing technology and governance models. - Coordinate with IT, operations, and business units to embed security best practices into project lifecycles. - Report on security metrics, risk posture, and incident trends to senior leadership. **Required Skills:** - Strategic security governance and risk management. - Advanced knowledge of AWS and Azure security services and on‑prem infrastructure. - Incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management. - Vendor risk and third‑party security management. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) – mandatory. - Alternative: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer. - Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
