Job Description
Job title: Commercial Manager – France & Export (H/F) Role Summary: Lead B2B sales growth in France and emerging export markets while driving the launch of new self‑service products. Collaborate closely with marketing, R&D, and production to tailor offerings, nurture customer relationships, and feed market intelligence. Expectations: Minimum of 3 years in field sales, ideally within an industrial/technical environment. Proven prospecting, negotiation and closure skills. Autonomy, rigor, entrepreneurial mindset, and professionalism in French and English. Willingness to travel extensively across France and occasional overnight stays abroad. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and grow the French B2B client portfolio and identify prospects in target export markets (Ireland, Switzerland, Greece, etc.). - Build long‑term relationships, conduct needs analyses, and customize solutions. - Represent the company at trade shows, product demonstrations, and site visits. - Negotiate commercial terms, draft proposals and quotations, and follow projects through to signed contracts. - Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, R&D, production) to align product offerings with market demands. - Relay on‑ground feedback to influence product development and refinement. - Contribute to the definition and execution of the commercial strategy and performance metrics. Required Skills: - B2B sales, prospecting, negotiation, and customer relationship management. - Strong communication in French (native) and professional English; additional languages are a plus. - Proficiency with Office suite; experience with ERP systems (e.g., PMI) is advantageous. - Ability to travel extensively within France and attend international events. - Entrepreneurial spirit, decision‑making autonomy, and meticulous attention to detail. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Valid French driving licence (B) and permission for regular travel.
