**Job title:** Events & Marketing Manager
**Role Summary:** Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of B2B trade shows, exhibitions, and integrated marketing campaigns for a global defence engineering partner. Deliver ROI‑driven event presence, CRM‑based campaign performance, and strategic brand elevation across UK and international markets.
**Expectations:**
- Own end‑to‑end event and campaign lifecycle, driving commercial impact and brand differentiation.
- Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM data to measure engagement, ROI, and optimise spend.
- Foster cross‑functional alignment, supplier relations, and stakeholder engagement (defence attachés, trade bodies, senior professionals).
- Mentor a junior marketing assistant and influence strategic direction of the marketing function.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and execute integrated B2B trade show and event campaigns, including stand design, logistics, and on‑site delivery.
- Manage event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and secure best‑value opportunities.
- Produce creative assets (product sheets, email workflows, collateral) and maintain brand consistency.
- Track and analyse event metrics, attribution, and ROI using Salesforce or equivalent platforms; report insights to senior leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, trade bodies, defence attachés, and community stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate charity and community events that align with organisational values.
- Translate data insights into actionable improvements for future events and campaigns.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale trade shows, exhibitions, or events (B2B).
- Proficiency in Salesforce (Marketing Cloud) or comparable CRM platforms; knowledge of marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.).
- Strong understanding of attribution reporting, ROI measurement, and budget management.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship‑building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with ability to link activities to business objectives.
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and detail‑orientation skills.
- Team collaboration, pro‑active problem solving, and commitment to safety.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Salesforce Administrator or Marketing Cloud Specialist certification is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain any required security clearance for defence sector engagement.
