**Job Title** Assistant IT Systems Manager **Role Summary** Support the Incident and Information Systems (RSI) manager in maintaining and evolving the company’s IT infrastructure, security, and applications across multiple sites. Balance technical support, infrastructure management, and project delivery while ensuring availability, performance, and data protection. **Expectations** - ≥5 years experience managing IT for a multi‑site SME, covering both support and project management. - Proven ability to work independently, manage on‑site incidents, and coordinate remote support. - Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and external vendors. **Key Responsibilities** - Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems. - Manage user access rights and application authorisations. - Resolve technical incidents and provide frontline user support. - Plan and execute corrective and evolutionary hardware maintenance in partnership with vendors. - Coordinate application maintenance with developers, publishers, and integrators. - Install, configure, and maintain hardware, servers, virtualization, and network components. - Design and implement new tools and applications. - Schedule, test, and deploy migrations and production releases. - Manage suppliers and internal teams for IT projects. - Conduct technology and regulatory watch; provide advice to management on IT evolution and investments. - Define and monitor the IT budget. **Required Skills** - Infrastructure & networking: servers, virtualization (VMware), Windows environments, network security. - Database fundamentals and development tools (e.g., WINDEV). - Backup & recovery (VMware, VEEAM). - Project management: requirements definition, planning, tracking, reporting, stakeholder coordination. - IT security practices and data protection. - Proactiveness, organisation, and rigorous problem‑solving. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum of a Bachelor's or DUT in Computer Science / Information Technology. - Relevant certifications in VMware, Windows Server, or ITIL preferred.
