Are you a skilled and motivated Information Assurance professional looking to make a real impact? This could be the perfect opportunity for you! Loriens leading Public Sector client is seeking an exceptionalInformation Assurance Officer to join their dynamic team in Scotland.
They will be looking for the successful candidate to working in Edinburgh Offices from time to time.
About the Role
As the Information Assurance Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the programme. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Providing comprehensive support and advice to the Information Assurance Lead and the Product/Delivery Manager.
Assuring that products and applications meet governance requirements and comply with relevant legislation and national standards.
Liaising with product/delivery teams to ensure timely completion of assurance actions.
Collaborating with various specialists to ensure the products meet compliance needs.
Proactively implementing and embedding robust assurance processes across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience working in the field of Information Assurance
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities
Strong understanding of data protection legislation and its application in a cloud computing environment
Experience in drafting governance documentation, such as data protection impact assessments and data sharing agreements
