Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with 3-7 years of industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in C/C++, a passion for writing optimized and maintainable code, and a collaborative mindset. Familiarity with Python and a basic understanding of statistics are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development: Design, develop, optimize, and maintain high-quality software components.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to implement new features and improve existing ones.
Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for maintainability and performance.
Prototyping: Use Python to prototype and validate solutions when appropriate.
Data Analysis: Apply basic statistical methods to analyze and enhance software performance.
Qualifications
Experience: 3-7 years of professional software development experience.
Programming: Strong proficiency in C/C++ with a focus on writing efficient, high-quality code.
Additional Skills: Experience with Python for prototyping is a plus.
Statistics: Basic knowledge of statistical methods is beneficial.
Education: Bachelor's (B.E.) or Master's (M.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Bonus: Familiarity with the Android mobile code base is a significant plus.
