Our client, a global leader in payment and retail tech, is looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join their team onsite in Atlanta, GA.
This is a hands-on role with high visibility--ideal for engineers who enjoy system-level development, containerization, and working on solutions that touch millions of retail transactions daily.
Responsibilities:
Building and enhancing applications in Visual C++ (Windows)
Helping convert Windows-based C++ codebases to Linux
Working with Kubernetes, Docker, and KubeVirt
Writing unit tests with frameworks like Google Test
Participating in Agile ceremonies and collaborating cross-functionally
Required Skills:
5+ years of C++ on Windows (recent, focused experience)
Strong skills in unit testing, clean code, and test-first development
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes
Experience writing tests using Google Test, CppUnit, etc.
Exposure to Python, Linux, and virtualization tools
