Are you an experienced Visual Basic Developer looking to take on new challenges in a dynamic and supportive environment? We're seeking a proactive and skilled VB Developer with strong experience in VB6 and/or VB.NET to help support, enhance, and modernize our software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using VB6 and/or VB.NET.
Support and upgrade legacy systems, ensuring reliability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and integrations.
Work with SQL Server databases using SQL and ADO.NET.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
Participate in agile or traditional development processes, including code reviews and sprint planning.
Contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with VB6 and/or VB.NET.
Solid understanding of the .NET Framework, Windows Forms, and ADO.NET.
Proficient in SQL with experience working on SQL Server.
Experience maintaining and upgrading legacy Visual Basic applications.
Familiarity with APIs, third-party integrations, and advanced debugging.
Good grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience with version control tools such as Git or TFS.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
