ServiceNow Developer - Contract Opportunity - Paris, Ile-de-France, France (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITSM Developer to join a cross-functional team driving a major digital transformation initiative. This project focuses on optimizing IT service delivery through the implementation of ServiceNow and enhancement of ITSM processes on the ServiceNow platform. The goal is to improve operational efficiency, increase automation, and deliver a superior user experience. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of ServiceNow capabilities in a dynamic, agile environment.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6 months (potential for extension).
Location: Paris, hybrid.
On-site Requirement: 1 day per week (4 days remote).
Language Requirement: Fluent English, French is a plus.
Experience Level: Minimum 3 years in ServiceNow ITSM development.
Role Overview
Join a transformation-focused team dedicated to streamlining IT operations by leveraging the ServiceNow platform. The position requires hands-on development and configuration across ITSM modules to enable automation, self-service, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and enhance core ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and CMDB.
Collaborate with IT stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to define and validate requirements.
Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, workflows, and fulfillment automation.
Configure SLAs, notifications, approvals, and escalation rules.
Support testing, documentation, and post-deployment troubleshooting.
Promote adoption of ITSM best practices and service optimization strategies.
Technical Skills Required
3+ years of hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow ITSM modules.
Strong JavaScript skills.
Proficiency in Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
Experience working with CMDB and Service Catalog configurations.
Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and managing Update Sets.
Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture and performance optimization.
Desirable Skills
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, ITSM Implementation Specialist).
Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of Service Portal customization and front-end development.
Exposure to multi-instance or multi-tenant ServiceNow environments.
