Datadog Consultant

Wichita, KS (Remote Option)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Datadog Consultant to design, implement, and optimize observability solutions using Datadog's monitoring platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system metrics, logs, traces, and APM, along with the ability to tailor Datadog implementations to business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess client environments and define observability goals.
Design and implement Datadog monitoring for infrastructure, applications, and cloud services.
Configure dashboards, alerts, SLOs, and monitors.
Set up and optimize APM, logs, real user monitoring (RUM), synthetics, and integrations.
Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and engineering teams to ensure proactive incident detection and resolution.
Train internal teams on Datadog usage and best practices.
Perform performance tuning and cost optimization for Datadog environments.
Stay up to date with new Datadog features and industry trends.
