Job Specifications

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator. We are looking for a contractor with +7 years of proven professional experience as Data Base Administrator with XTTS, RMAN CONVERT and Datapump knowledge and experience.

EU candidates are welcome to apply. Work permit is not provided. Candidates need to be based in Luxembourg or willing to relocate to Luxembourg.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Administer and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL database components;
Lead and support Oracle database migration activities;
Manage backup and restoration processes to ensure data integrity and availability;
Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and address performance issues proactively;
Occasionally participate in on-call rotations when required to ensure operational continuity;

Profile:

Bachelor or Master degree in IT;
+7 years of proven professional experience as Data Base Administrator;
+5 years of experience with SQL, Oracle, and PL/SQL;
+5 years experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL DBA on Linux;
+7 years in Oracle migrations, including in Oracle 12c to 19c migrations;
Relevant experience in database installation and maintenance;
+7 years of experience with XTTS, RMAN CONVERT, and Datapump;
Proficiency in English and French language;
