Job Specifications

Revivn is a profitable and rapidly growing company that helps enterprises manage their technology through our end of life software platform. We take electronic recycling one step further by repurposing hardware that still has remaining life and providing it to people who lack dedicated computer access and make it more affordable for people who may not be able to purchase new technology. Working with companies like Instacart, Lyft, Qualtrics, X, Gensler, and Allbirds we are changing the way companies view used technology with a new model that focuses on repurposing instead of recycling.

Please note this role is based on-site at our Brooklyn Navy Yard office with Remote Wednesdays.

We are looking for a dynamic IT Infrastructure and Security Analyst with a passion for cybersecurity, a strong foundation in IT / Network Administration, and an interest in physical asset security. In this hybrid role, you will safeguard our organization against security threats while also ensuring our IT infrastructure operates seamlessly. You will have the opportunity to design and implement security measures, respond to incidents, and manage the network infrastructure that underpins our operations.

What you'll do

Information Security

Perform security awareness training for employees to mitigate risks such as phishing.
Support audits by gathering evidence and documentation for compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
Act as a liaison between IT, legal, operations and GTM units for security-related initiatives.
Address vendor security-related requests, ensuring accurate and comprehensive information about the organization's security protocols and compliance practices.
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Lead efforts to implement and optimize security tools, such as endpoint protection or intrusion detection systems (IDS).

IT and User Access Management

Manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
Support and maintain IT systems, including Wifi, servers, desktops, teleconferencing (zoom rooms) and mobile devices.
Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Educate users on basic IT practices, such as password security and device management.
Monitor system and network performance to ensure uptime and availability.
Audit all SaaS subscriptions and vendor applications, detailing necessities vs expendables, and handle renewals. Ensure admin account, users, and subsequent provisioning make sense. Evaluate any new app that we are going to purchase and manage within OKTA if applicable.
Oversee user account provisioning and permission management for both internal and external systems, including Okta, Phoenix, Ziperase, and more.
Support onboarding and offboarding by managing user accounts and permissions.
Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with policies.
Respond to and resolve help desk tickets or escalate as needed.

Facility Security Collaboration

Work closely with Revivn's Asset Protection Manager to configure physical security hardware, identify risks, monitor systems and remediate issues.
Connect security tools like Samsara, OpenPath, physical cameras, etc to proprietary servers and configure integrations, secure backups, and ensure 100% uptime.
Partner with Operations, Engineering and Product teams to provide security insights and help productize offerings for our partners, such as pallet tracking and other initiatives.

What We Are Looking for

A self-starter who is eager to take on a role combining security and IT.
Someone who enjoys solving problems and finding innovative ways to enhance system security and performance.
Excellent communication skills and can translate technical issues for non-technical audiences.
Detail-oriented and committed to keeping systems secure and reliable.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in information security or IT/network administration.
Basic knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM), virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and ITIL processes.
Ability to work independently on moderate to complex issues.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting and tools like Wireshark or PingPlotter.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and virtualization technologies.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and DNS.

Bonus

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, bash) for automation.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or CCNA.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with SIEM tools like Datadog, Splunk, LogRhythm, or QRadar.
Experience with DevOps teams to implement security measures in CI/CD pipelines.
