Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of constructing high-performance, attractive, and responsive user experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage frontend projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards, including code quality and maintainability.
Mentor junior developers and delegate tasks effectively.
Monitor and set up telemetry for the improvement of web vitals, performance, and experience scores.
Develop and maintain user-facing features using modern frontend technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript: Strong proficiency in both languages.
ReactJS with a framework like NextJS: In-depth experience with ReactJS and a framework such as NextJS.
Redux: Solid understanding and practical application of Redux for state management.
Styling Frameworks: Expertise in applying Tailwind CSS according to best practices.
React Hooks: A solid understanding of all React hooks.
API Consumption: Experience with REST APIs, gRPC, and websockets.
Project Leadership: Proven experience leading and managing frontend projects.
Mentorship and Delegation: Ability to mentor junior developers and delegate tasks effectively.
Telemetry and Performance Monitoring: Experience with monitoring and setting up telemetry for web vitals, performance, and experience scores.
Adaptability: Strong adaptability to rapidly changing industry ecosystems and a proactive approach to seizing opportunities.
Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive design and web development best practices.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Industry Experience: Demonstrated expertise in crafting products to service the gaming industry, or experience developing frontend products for a substantial user base.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
HTML5 Animation Frameworks: Experience with HTML5 animation frameworks.
HTML5 Canvas: Knowledge of HTML5 Canvas 2D and 3D contexts or frameworks (e.g., PixiJS, Three.js).
Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, fintech, igaming, and/or trading.
