Job Description
We are looking for an experienced PaaS Cloud Architect to join our CSS team in EMEA. The PaaS Domain expert will be responsible of providing consultancy and advisory to our strategic customers, translating ideas and concepts into implementable, supportable designs, also have experience in providing technical solutions aligned with Oracle standards, applying and providing the industry's best practices in customer. This hands-on role focuses on helping Oracle customers implement best practices to maximize the value of Oracle Cloud solutions. Responsibilities include supporting CSS customers' PaaS4SaaS implementations, optimizing critical business processes, and ensuring seamless monitoring and regression testing of end-to-end cloud deployments.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in integration technologies, cloud coding languages, and automation. Key products include Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Oracle Process Cloud (PCS), and Oracle Database
You will also have experience in in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related technologies. Your responsibilities will span technical delivery, client engagement, and ensuring operational excellence.
Plays a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of Oracle Cloud applications. The PaaS domain specialist ensures solution architecture feasibility and mitigates risk by leveraging a network of subject matter experts in the various domains. The PaaS Architect/domain specialist is also capable of proposing customer roadmaps to realize the proposed solution.

Primary Skills
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC):
Experience in developing app-driven orchestrations, scheduled integrations, and REST/SOAP-based APIs.
Knowledge of integration patterns, transformation mappings, and adapters (e.g., REST Adapter, ERP Adapter, FTP Adapter).
Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS):
Expertise in building custom UI applications using VBCS.
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Oracle JET components.
Fusion SaaS Integration:
Knowledge of Fusion data models and web service integration (ERP, HCM, SCM modules).
Working experience with Oracle SaaS REST APIs and SOAP web services.
SQL / PLSQL:
Strong hands-on experience with writing complex SQL queries and PLSQL procedures, functions, packages.
Ability to debug and optimize queries for performance
Requirements
5-10 years of experience in development, support, integration, or a related field. With at least 6+ years in PaaS implementation and expertise in delivering integration, OIC or API-based solutions.
Hands-on experience leading multiple full lifecycle projects using OIC and API products.
Proven ability to architect and design solutions for enterprise-scale clients.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with DevOps tools, automation frameworks, and end-to-end delivery of integration solutions.
Hands-on expertise with Oracle VBCS, PCS, MFT CS, BPEL, OSB, and B2B
You should have the ability to collaborate and connect with client Business Teams independently.
You should be able to analyze solution approaches, estimations, standard methodologies, project risks and recommendations.
You should be able to understand client requirements and map them to 'off-the-shelf' products or product features to decide whether they would be more suitable than building a new system from scratch.
You should be able to participate and lead, when needed, the project meetings and Product-Walkthrough workshops with the Customer.
You possess excellent analytical, presentation and communications skills, demonstrable ability to translate business requirements into technology specifications.
You possess good communication & documentation skills in English with at least one local language.
You should be willing to work at offshore as well as travel to client locations for short, medium, or long duration assignments.
Should be willing to take up Oracle SaaS certifications in functional areas as and when required.
Other Skills
You possess knowledge of basic SQL query writing, Report writing, Workflow / dashboard creation.
You have exposure to software development processes and practices, Testing tools
