Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Bristol-area

Salary: Up to PS45,000 p/a (DOE)

Full-Time | Permanent

Carbon60 have partnered with leading manufacturing client in the Bristol area who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing new mechanical products and improving existing ones
Creating bespoke solutions for customer-specific requirements
Managing engineering projects from concept to completion
Producing technical drawings and conducting FEA analysis
Preparing reports and maintaining compliance documentation
Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the business

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
3+ years' experience in a similar role
Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD systems
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Experience with aluminium structures (preferred)
ERP system knowledge and commercial awareness
