The Impact You'll Have
As a key member of our Professional Services team you will leverage your AWS expertise to assist customers in their cloud journey as part of an implementation team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with architects and pre-sales team to meet with customers and develop new opportunities for the business. You will have access to training and early access to cutting-edge technologies, allowing you to stay at the forefront of technology and learn from your peers. By helping align an organization's cloud strategy with its business goals and ensuring that cloud solutions are efficient, scalable and secure you will make a significant impact and take your engineering career to the next level.
What You'll Do
Technical leader role during design and implementation of small to medium technology solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Provide overviews of complex solutions, architectures, integrations and project updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security standards and compliance best practices
Lead troubleshooting efforts, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
Communicating proactively with project managers, project teams, and customers.
Creating and updating project documentation as required by project leads.
Mentoring junior engineers
Engaging in internal initiatives to build the AWS practice by developing new solutions, learning new skills, and collaborating with the team.
What You'll Bring To The Table
5-7 years of work experience leveraging AWS solutions and services in a technical consulting role in a similar organization or focus area
Proven track record of successful project contributions in Tech Consulting or Software Development
Control Tower, IAM, VPCs, Firewall Rules, VPNs etc.
Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure and services
Advanced Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Expertise in at least one of Terraform or CloudFormation.
Advanced Proficiency in Scripting or Programming Languages:
Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Bash, or Java.
Advanced Knowledge of IT principles:
In-depth knowledge of IT principles in at least one of: Networking, Security, Hardware or Software
Expert level understanding of DevOps Culture, Methodologies and Tooling:
At least 5 years of experience using and managing tools such as Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Prometheus and Docker.
Recommended Certifications:
AWS: Solutions Architect - Professional
AWS: Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
