Title: Cyber Security SOAR Engineer

Location(s): Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA or Wilson, NC

Environment: Hybrid (flexible)

Duration: 12+ month contract to FTE

Pay: $80-$90/hour W2, (NO C2C or 1099)

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity SOAR Engineer to help design, build, and maintain advanced automation workflows within our SOAR platform. This role focuses on developing scalable, fully-featured automated processes that improve incident response and reduce manual effort for security teams.

Must-Have Requirements:

10-15+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity systems to protect digital infrastructure
Proven experience working in enterprise environments, supporting large-scale security operations
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, including custom playbook development and automation deployment
Proficiency in Python scripting for building and maintaining custom automations and integrations
Hands-on experience with a SOAR platform (any vendor)
Familiarity with Git for source control and versioning
Cybersecurity foundational knowledge, with relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or equivalent)
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, following DevOps and secure coding practices
