Overview:

InnovoCommerce is a leading SaaS provider of AI-augmented eClinical solutions for the global life sciences industry. Today, some of the largest pharmaceutical firms in the world use our enterprise platform for their clinical trials. We are seeking a fast-paced AI Engineer specializing in building & optimizing complex AI agent frameworks. You will play a pivotal role in refining AI-driven clinical knowledge bases & tools that enhance the efficiency and ease of clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business & developers to help lead the orchestration of agent-driven architecture, making precise decisions on input data, tools, refinement, etc.
Design, implement, and fine-tune a robust knowledge base optimized for clinical research use cases.
Leverage feedback loops and evaluation frameworks to iteratively refine system accuracy and user experience.
Develop and deploy scalable, production-ready code with asynchronous processing capabilities to handle concurrent requests, rate limits, and real-time data processing.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure deployments to ensure seamless integration with the backend.
Commute to the office when necessary for in-person collaboration (SoCal location necessary).

Qualifications:

3+ years of professional experience developing AI-driven applications, with significant hands-on expertise in building and optimizing agent orchestrations involving LLMs, RAG optimization (i.e. data standardization, reranker fine-tuning), graph RAG retrieval, memory, etc.
Strong expertise in handling data at a large scale to provide maximum accuracy.
Proven track record in fine-tuning models, context engineering, and implementing evaluation frameworks for high performance.
Experience with biomedical or clinical research domains & data - including data preprocessing and implementation.
Preferred: Comfortable working in cloud environments, particularly Azure-based infrastructures.
