Job Specifications

Tool Development Engineer - $73-$93/hr.

9-12-month contract - onsite

Carlsbad 92008

Basic Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

* At least 1-3 years of experience within Engineering or related field

* Exposure to Networking protocols and configuration

* Proven Debugging and Troubleshooting skills

* Excellent written and verbal communications capabilities

* Ability to work effectively in large, or small teams, or individually

Specific to Tool Development Eng:

----------------------------------

- Strong Programming Capabilities using Python, Perl, Go, TypeScript, Java, or C# etc.

- Experience with modern test frameworks (PyTest, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)

- Experience with infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Helm)

- Strong knowledge/experience with Linux environment and common tools

- Familiarity with contract testing tools (e.g., Pact)

- Exposure to observability (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus) and data analysis (SQL/BigQuery)
