Job Specifications

Sibling is in the market for a leading client in the Belgian energy sector who are looking for a Data Engineer / BI Specialist to design and build data models (Star Schema) that will power analytics and reporting across the business.

Main Focus

Design and build fact/dimension models (Star Schema)
Work closely with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data structures
Optimise ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse performance
Support BI/reporting teams with clean, reliable models

Your background:

Strong experience in data warehousing & dimensional modelling (Kimball/Star Schema)
Advanced SQL and experience with modern data platforms (Databricks and Azure)
Familiar with ETL/ELT tools and at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau)
Able to work in a hybrid setup (mix of remote + onsite Belgium)

Location: Belgium (hybrid) 3+2
Start: ASAP
Contract: 12 Months+ (Extensions to Follow)
