Job Specifications
We are seeking a strategic and visionary Director, Data and AI Solutions to lead our data, analytics, and artificial intelligence initiatives. This executive role is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the operations of our information systems and electronic data processing (EDP) functions. The Director will drive the development and implementation of innovative data and AI strategies, policies, and systems to enhance business operations, client engagement, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate all activities within the information systems and EDP departments.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for computer systems development, operations, and data management.
Meet with clients to understand system requirements, specifications, project costs, and timelines; provide expert guidance on data and AI solutions.
Assemble, lead, and manage high-performing teams of information systems personnel, including analysts, engineers, programmers, and technicians, to design, develop, implement, operate, and maintain computer and telecommunications software, networks, and information systems.
Oversee departmental or project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
Recruit, supervise, and mentor IT personnel, providing professional development, training, and performance evaluations to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business units and leadership to align data and AI strategies with organizational goals.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data, AI, and information systems to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in directing data, AI, or information systems departments or projects in a complex organization.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience building and mentoring diverse technical teams.
Expertise in electronic data processing, computer systems development, AI, and analytics platforms.
Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and budget management abilities.
Strong client-facing skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud-based data architectures and AI/ML platforms.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
Track record of delivering innovative AI and data solutions that drive business impact.
