Senior Java Developer (Angular + GitHub Copilot)

Location: Greater Boston, MA (On-Site Interview Required)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong Angular expertise and recent, practical experience using GitHub Copilot. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance applications and collaborating across teams to deliver innovative solutions.

The candidate must be located in the Greater Boston area and available to interview on-site within the next week at our Boston office.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java and Angular.

Leverage GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and accelerate development cycles.

Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Integrate front-end Angular applications with Java-based APIs and back-end services.

Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Must be located in the greater Boston, MA area and available for on-site interview within one week.

Strong experience as a Java Developer (Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks).

Professional experience with Angular for front-end development.

Recent hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot (mandatory).

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.

Solid understanding of object-oriented design, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.

Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, relational databases).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Background working in large-scale enterprise environments.

Exposure to testing frameworks (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, or similar)
