Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Responsibilities:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Qualifications:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, Angular, or C#.
Hands-on experience in developing cloud-native applications and familiarity with core cloud development principles.
Strong background in database technologies, including MongoDB and SQL Server, with expertise in ETL processes, SQL queries/stored procedures, data modeling, and Business Objects.
Experience designing and developing solutions in cloud environments, with knowledge of architecture best practices.
Proven ability to build and maintain RESTful web services, particularly using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and code refactoring techniques.
Experience writing unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
Familiarity with microservices architecture, including the development of modular, independently deployable services.
Strong grasp of relational database design and implementation principles.
Ability to refactor legacy codebases to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Experience integrating disparate systems, services, and data sources.
Exposure to Agile development methodologies and tools such as Team Foundation Server (TFS), Confluence, and Jira is a plus.
