KPI & Performance Management

The person needs to set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that accurately measure business performance.
They won't just track numbers but ensure KPIs align with strategic goals and decision-making.

Data-Driven Decision Making

Must be comfortable with reading, interpreting, and explaining business data.
Use data to support better decisions, not just for reporting but also to spot trends, risks, and opportunities.

Business Alignment

Understand how their analysis impacts end customers and internal stakeholders.
Balance competing priorities and ensure the insights they generate help the organization run more effectively.

Analytical Skills

Apply mathematical models and statistical methods to analyze data.
Recognize where data analysis can add real business value (e.g., identifying inefficiencies, predicting customer needs, optimizing operations).

Tools & Technical Skills

Must be proficient in data analysis tools such as Power BI (likely for dashboards and reporting).
Could also involve other BI or analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R, etc.).

Communication Skills

Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to present findings effectively, both in writing and in meetings.
