Job Opportunity: Principal Security Platform Engineer - Cloud

Location: London, Hybrid (3 days per week)

Type: Full-Time

Salary: Up to PS100,000 plus up to 40% bonus

Our client, a highly respected and well-established household name, is seeking a talented Principal Security Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on the security posture of a leading organisation.

This is a senior hands-on role where you'll shape cloud security strategy, improve posture, and embed guardrails that protect millions of customer transactions every day.

The opportunity

Act as the SME for cloud security across a large-scale Azure environment.
Implement and tune CASBs, CSPMs, CWPPs, CNAPPs and Microsoft security tooling.
Secure Kubernetes, containers and serverless workloads.
Define and automate security standards and policies (policy-as-code, Terraform/Bicep).
Drive DevSecOps adoption, embedding controls into CI/CD pipelines.
Work closely with Cloud Platform, Networks, InfoSec and SOC teams.

What you'll bring

5+ years in security engineering with deep cloud security expertise.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Security technologies.
Hands-on experience with container security (AKS) and serverless security.
Strong grasp of cloud compliance, governance and policies.
Ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders.
