Akkodis is seeking a - "Java Engineer" for a Contract position with a client in San Jose, CA.
Pay Range: $70-$80/hr. (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.).
Job Description: -
We need skilled and experienced back end JAVA engineers who work on spring/ restful web applications who will be able to independently work on the assigned tasks with minimal hand holding and who can understand the agile processes to follow scrum ceremonies and have good work ethic to collaborate with cross functional teams and their peers within the team and stay on top of the deliverables to meet the committed timelines without compromising on the quality of the product by taking end to end ownership of the task.
Daily Responsibilities
Participating in Scrum ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups and Sprint planning, to align on priorities and progress. Executing assigned daily tasks for upcoming sprints, including coding, testing, and validating work against defined acceptance criteria. Test it in local, deploy it on stage environment and test and validate on production environment. Collaborate with peers to resolve issues, ensure deliverables stay on track, and prepare demos for product managers to confirm requirements are met.

Writing Code, Unit Tests, Functional Tests
Nice to Have: Database related, experience working in IDs (intellij, eclipse, etc.)
