We're hiring a Sr. Salesforce Engineer for a leading client of mine, a financial services company. This is a remote contract role for 6 months to start that could extend or even convert to FTE for the right person. The position focuses on both Sales and Service Cloud, with hands-on development in Apex, LWC, and JavaScript, and integration experience using Kafka, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and more. Java experience is required.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join a growing product team focused on building a modern, interactive digital experience that helps advisors better understand and serve their clients. The team is working on integrating client data, enhancing meeting preparedness tools, and laying the foundation for future AI-driven features.
You'll be part of a collaborative engineering team responsible for designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions, contributing to DevOps practices, and helping define engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement Salesforce-based solutions aligned with product strategy
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate client data and improve user experience
* Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps practices
* Participate in product planning, technical roadmapping, and mentoring junior engineers
* Stay current with Salesforce technologies and industry best practices
Must-Have Skills
* 8+ years of hands-on coding experience with Salesforce
* Strong understanding of secure coding, code coverage, observability, and monitoring
* Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
* Messaging technologies: Kafka, RabbitMQ (JSON or AVRO formats)
* Front-end and platform experience: Java, React, Angular, OpenShift
