Internship Program Overview

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. Summary Of Role

The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Internship at Global Foundries will support the strategic alignment of supply and demand across our global businesses. Reporting to the S&OP manager, this position plays a critical role in supporting our overall supply chain transformation and is on a high visibility team.

Essential Responsibilities Include

Prepare, analyze, and present data on demand, supply, inventory, financials, and capacity to support S&OP activities within the product lines
Co-lead tool automation initiatives to streamline workflows and automate current process for efficiency across supply chain operations
Own a continuous improvement project and work with cross functional partners for alignment
Help transform the product lifecycle management process cross functionally

Other Responsibilities

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications

Education - At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, product marketing or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior related internship or co-op experience
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills
Preferred prior classes or internship in supply chain or product marketing
Strong skills in analytics, problem solving and data analysis
Strong attention to detail - ability to accurately manage, update, maintain large datasets.
