Mode is proud to be partnered with a prestigious luxury fragrance brand seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead its boutique within an iconic London department store.
This is a unique opportunity to manage a high-profile retail concession, delivering outstanding customer experiences while driving sales, team performance, and brand growth in one of the world's most renowned shopping destinations.
As Business Manager, you will have full responsibility for overseeing daily operations, developing and inspiring a high-performing team, and ensuring that the boutique consistently embodies the values and prestige of the brand. You will play a pivotal role in delivering commercial success, implementing brand strategies, and maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation within the department store environment.
The Role
Sales & KPI Leadership - Drive and exceed sales targets, ensuring strong performance across key metrics including conversion, ATV, and UPT.
Luxury Client Experience - Lead by example in delivering world-class service, cultivating lasting client relationships, and driving loyalty initiatives.
Team Management - Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Operational Excellence - Oversee inventory management, replenishment, cash handling, and concession standards to ensure seamless operations.
Brand Strategy Execution - Implement marketing initiatives, product launches, and exclusive in-store events to maximise visibility and client engagement.
Stakeholder Collaboration - Act as the key liaison with both the department store management and the brand's head office, ensuring alignment on business goals and performance.
Requirements
Significant retail management experience within luxury, ideally in fragrance, beauty, or fashion.
A proven leader with a track record of driving sales, managing KPIs, and building strong client relationships.
Experienced in managing and developing teams within a high-profile retail environment.
Commercially astute, with strong operational management skills and attention to detail.
Well-presented, articulate, and confident in engaging with a discerning, international clientele.
Flexible and adaptable, with availability to work full-time including weekends and peak trading periods.
