Iris's client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Sr SRE Engineer / Lead for a long term contract opportunity.

Our Client is a CANADA multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. The bank serves over 17 million clients and has more than 89,000 employees worldwide. Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.

Position: Sr SRE Engineer / Lead

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

Required Skill:

Strong experience in Azure Cloud, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), and production operations.
Proven expertise in SRE practices including monitoring, incident response, and reliability engineering.
Familiarity with Dynatrace or similar monitoring/observability tools.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with Python scripting, Terraform, and Ansible automation.
Background in application development transitioning into SRE preferred.
Knowledge of core banking and payments systems is a strong asset.
