About The Job

External Manufacturing and Supply (EM&S) Large Molecules GenMed organization manages all Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) across the GenMed Global Business Unit (GBU) that deliver Sanofi's large molecule products. We serve the GBU within Manufacturing & Supply with drug substance, drug products, and finished goods. Our organization strives towards three key priorities: (i) Ensure Supply, (ii) Deliver Financially, and (iii) Grow Talent. Beyond our core business operations, we are transforming the business by establishing strategic partnerships and implementing advanced technology for centralized CMO performance management.

Main Responsibilities

Lead the Large Molecules GenMed External Site Team, ensuring timely delivery of products from CMOs
Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & Involvement metrics
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external partners and internal stakeholders
Manage financial performance including budgets, cost savings, and P&L responsibilities
Oversee contract management and strategic planning initiatives
Lead risk management programs and ensure quality compliance
Participate in quality governance forums and oversee critical deviation approvals
Build and manage high-performing teams in an inclusive environment
Drive standardization of CMO management processes and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Quality, Finance, and Regulatory
Ensure effective resource allocation and project prioritization
Support strategic portfolio management and lifecycle projects

About You

Experience: Demonstrated experience in operational roles, preferably as Site Manager or Senior Leadership Team member

Soft Skills

Strategic thinking with ability to shape vision
Strong leadership and team development capabilities
Excellence in relationship building and communication
Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity
Results-driven with proven execution skills

Technical Skills

Understanding of E2E product & industrial strategy
Knowledge of performance management and project management
Familiarity with biotech/pharmaceutical industry technologies
Strong analytical capabilities
Proficiency in KPI management and digital tools

Education

Bachelor's degree with scientific background or equivalent
Master's degree preferred
Languages: Fluent in English; French is a plus

Additional Requirements

Experience in industrial business processes
Understanding of data management and AI digital products
Cross-functional and cross-site networking experience
