As a Life Science Software Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation for our clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. You will own the design and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems solutions and apply next-generation technologies to optimize manufacturing processes, ensure compliance, and deliver measurable business value. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Assess customer processes, infrastructure, IT systems (ERP, LIMS, etc.), and automation layers to find opportunities for MES implementation and digital transformation.
Lead the design and development of the Process and Knowledge Management (PKM) software application using technologies such as Python, NoSQL databases, and AngularJS / HTML5.
Map current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") business processes, define strategic vision, and quantify expected benefits from MES solutions.
Conduct high-level business and technical analyses including value-stream mapping, requirements definition, validation planning, and gap analysis. Perform FEED studies as needed.
Provide high-level support during project delivery, mentoring technical leads and participating in key customer meetings.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, participating in architecture and design reviews and building long-term relationships.
Deliver presentations and documentation tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences, supporting customer engagements and industry events.
Provide Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback to product and marketing teams, and support the Syncade sales team in large international pursuits.

For this Role, You Will Need:
5+ years of experience applying next-generation software technologies (e.g., microservices, Kubernetes, NoSQL databases, cloud-hosted environments) to enterprise applications.
Excellent knowledge and proven experience with data integration, server hardware and networks, ERP systems (SAP preferred), project management and technical leadership experience.
Solid understanding of biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, operational workflows, and batch records.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Availability to travel across Europe up to 40% of the time for short or extended assignments (e.g., commissioning, testing).
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience working in regulated environments with knowledge of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and validation requirements.
Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills.
Experience with Emerson Syncade or similar MES platforms is a strong plus.
