About The Role

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will work on challenging projects involving Texas Instruments microcontrollers, focusing on bare metal and real-time software development. You will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of the software while adhering to safety-critical standards. Your work will involve debugging, implementing redundancy lines, and conducting various self-tests to ensure optimal microcontroller performance.

Key responsibilities

Develop and optimize embedded software for robotics applications using Texas Instruments microcontrollers.
Design and execute self-tests for microcontroller validation, including processing units, peripherals, and SPI-bus.
Utilize debugging tools specific to microcontrollers to troubleshoot and enhance system performance.
Conduct hardware debugging and work with PCBs, small soldering, and measurement tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Implement redundancy features to ensure system reliability and fault tolerance.
Collaborate within cross-functional teams to integrate software with overall system architecture.
Perform testing and troubleshooting on bootloaders such as UBOOT.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in embedded systems and microcontroller development.

Proficient in developing software on bare metal systems.
Extensive experience with Texas Instruments microcontrollers.
Strong knowledge of safety-critical software development.
Expertise in using debugging tools and frameworks provided by TI.
Familiarity with hardware debugging, including soldering and using measurement tools.
Ability to build redundant systems for enhanced reliability.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
