About the position

You will be part of a motivated and small team that is:

Building a secure and scalable app enclosure for Azure using Terraform
Deploying production applications within our enclosure
Practicing DevOps using CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation
Focused on trust over process, impact over management metrics

Your responsibilities will include:

using Terraform to deploy cloud infrastructure
working with IaaS and PaaS resources in Azure and possibly GCP (VMs, scale sets, SQL databases, storage accounts)
using and improving a CI/CD pipeline to support and develops workflow
contributing to our core set of reusable Terraform modules
sharing on-call rotation with the team

You should have some experience with, or a desire to learn:

Infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform)
Cloud (e.g. Azure, GCP) IaaS and PaaS services
CI/CD
DevOps
macOS
Linux
Docker/Podman
Kubernetes

You should have a strong, innate desire to automate everything that can possibly be automated (but be practical about when to implement automation).

Additional Details

You'll be working a compressed work week consisting of four days; three days will be remote work days and one day will be an onsite/in office day
Eligible to acquire a Secret level security clearance
