Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in reporting, data analysis, and visualization. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver insightful reports and dashboards using SQL, Power BI, and Excel.
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for reporting and analytics needs.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and interactive reports to support decision-making.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources.
Build and maintain Excel-based reports (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros) to support operational and management reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, data, and IT) to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.
Mandatory Skills
Strong experience with SQL (queries, joins, optimization).
Hands-on expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard creation).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VBA/macros preferred).
Experience in reporting, analytics, and data visualization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with data warehousing concepts.
Knowledge of ETL tools or cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
