An Energy & Manufacturing client of ours is searching for a E&I engineer to join their team as projects begin to ramp up in Calgary, Alberta.

Our client has been around for more than 50 years offering cutting edge energy solutions across the world, and is looking to continue building up their reputation for innovation, safety & reliability.

As a member of the team, you would act as a mentor on projects prioritizing safety and collaboration working through the development, design and application of electrical & implementation systems across projects.

Responsibilities;

Lead electrical and instrumentation design for new and retrofit projects.
Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of E&I systems.
Ensure compliance with CSA, NEC, and other applicable codes and standards.
Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.

Requirements;

P. eng Certification.
5+ years of experience.
Strong knowledge of PLCs, DCS, VFDs, instrumentation, and power distribution systems .
Extensive experience working specifically with LV systems.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
