About the Role:

We are seeking a Technical Data Business Analyst to join a leading insurance brokerage. This role combines technical expertise with business insight, supporting data-driven decision-making across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to transform data, build insightful reports, and help the business leverage its data effectively.

The organisation is modernising its technology suites to provide cutting-edge cloud-based solutions (Azure/Snowflake) and insurance systems to business stakeholders, offering the chance to work on innovative projects at the forefront of the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimise ETL pipelines using SQL and Python
Transform and cleanse data from multiple sources to support analytics and reporting
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders
Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems

Skills & Experience:

Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and analysis
Experience with Python for data manipulation, transformation, and automation
Proven experience building Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
Understanding of insurance data and terminology is highly desirable
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
