We're looking for a Client Reporting Analyst to join our clients team in Victoria, BC. This person will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with investment and accounting professionals, influence reporting processes, and engage directly with internal stakeholders and external auditors. Responsibilities:

Lead the annual client fiscal year-end reporting process, including preparing risk disclosures, coordinating responses to auditors, and compiling financial data.
Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate the preparation, distribution, and review of monthly and quarterly client reports, including investment consolidation schedules.
Drive the design, testing, and implementation of new systems and initiatives that impact client reporting, ensuring alignment with client needs.
Recommend and implement workflow process improvements, leveraging financial systems such as investment accounting software, Excel, and Power BI.
Facilitate client education sessions and support client understanding of financial reports, accounting disclosures, and new Finance initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required:

CPA designation (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong understanding of securities markets, investment accounting workflows, and financial reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in creating reports and data analysis.
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to identify process efficiencies and manage competing deadlines.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence and incorporate diverse perspectives.

Preferred:

Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or enrollment in the CFA program.
Experience preparing financial statement note disclosures for financial instruments.
Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension, Power BI, Power Apps, or similar financial applications.
Prior experience working directly with clients, demonstrating a service-oriented mindset.
Proven ability to lead or mentor junior team members.
Knowledge of internal control procedures and business continuity planning.

Pay: $40 - 50 per/hour

On-site 4 days per week in Victoria, BC - Client facing role
