Are you a Business Analyst with experience in Capital Markets and expertise in Credit Risk, capital measurement, and regulatory compliance? Do you thrive at the intersection of regulation, data, and business analysis? If so, this is the role for you!

We're seeking a Business Analyst with deep expertise in Basel capital rules to join the Credit Risk & Capital Measurement team for a leading Canadian Bank in Toronto. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring accurate, compliant capital reporting while helping the bank navigate evolving regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:

Apply Basel III/IV capital rules (Standardized & IRB approaches) to credit risk exposures.
Analyze wholesale banking products (including Repo/Reverse Repo) to assess risk-weighted asset and capital impacts.
Work with large, complex datasets using SQL, Excel, and Access to generate insights.
Collaborate with Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to define requirements and improve processes.
Produce clear, impactful reports and presentations for senior management and regulators.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within Capital Markets sector
Strong knowledge of Basel frameworks (Basel III/IV preferred) and credit risk capital measurement.
Solid understanding of wholesale banking products and their regulatory treatment.
Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and Access for data analysis.
Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
A self-starter who can ramp up quickly in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment.
